You are here › Work Areas : Biodiversity in Agricultural and Forest Ecosystems
The aim of this task is to improve the knowledge on the impacts on biodiversity of management actions in agricultural, agro-silvo-pastoral and forestry systems, thus contributing to a better understanding of the environmental consequences of national and EU agricultural and forest policies. In this task two types of studies have been conducted: studies related with biodiversity monitoring at the national or european level, and more specific studies related, for instance, with impact assessment of farming practices and land use changes (e.g. on cereal steppes), or infra-structure building and operation (e.g. dams) on biodiversity.
