Ecology applied to the sustainable use of agro-forestry resources.

The main goal of the Centre is the production of sound ecological knowledge to provide stakeholders (agriculture, forest and game Associations, Ministries of Agriculture and Environment, NGOs) with the scientific bases for answering specific management and policy questions related to the sustainable use of agro-forestry resources.


CEABN is also committed in creating new mechanisms of knowledge transfer or improving the existing ones, in order to make research results effectively available for the different user groups. Examples of this effort are the organization of diverse environmental education activities directed to schoolchildren or the organization of knowledge dissemination activities (books, courses, seminars, etc.) directed to more conventional user groups.
