Abstract Submission
All interested people are invited to submit an abstract by 22 March. Communications can be proposed as oral or poster presentations (see guidelines for abstract submission). The authors will be notified about abstract acceptance by 19 April. At the same time, invitations to provide full papers to be published in Quercetea journal (a special number dedicated to Prof. Mário Lousã), will be sent to selected authors. All accepted abstracts will be published in the abstract and program meeting book, to be distributed to all participants in the symposium.

Guidelines for abstract submission:

  • The text must be between 2000 and 3000 characters (with spaces). Abstracts that do not fulfil this request will not be considered by the editors.
  • The authors should use the template provided in the annex, without modifications to the format. After its correct completion, the abstract form should be sent to viii.encontro.alfa@gmail.com.
  • Abstracts will only be considered for inclusion in the abstract book after the payment of the registration fee by at least one of the authors.

Guidelines for poster presentations:

  • Dimensions: 120 cm long, and 85 cm width.
  • The structure of the poster should respect the following order: Introduction (including objectives), Material and Methods, Results, Conclusions and References, and the poster should read from top to bottom and from left to right.
